NON-Governmental Scholarships
1. Spease Scholarship
The management considers that clinical training is an inevitable tool in the field of pharmacy education. So the management decided to provide financial support to the Pharm D students of college of pharmacy for internship and training.
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support for Pharm D students to enrich their exploration interest in the field of clinical pharmacy. The scholarship is named to honor “Edward G. Spease ” the father of Hospital Pharmacy and will be referred as “ Spease Scholarship ”.The maximum amount of scholarship is limited to Rs 2000 for each student.
2. Siemens Scholarship
The management consider that this scholarship provide students to gain occupational skill development and implementing new education policy So the management decide provide financial support to students of college of pharmacy for enrolling add on course and certificate programs.
The scholarship is named to honor “George Siemens” and will be referred as “Siemens Scholarship” .The purpose of this scholarship is to provide support for students to encourage their career development. The maximum amount of scholarship is limited to Rs 1000 for each add certificate program per student per year.
3. Fleming Scholarship
Research is an inevitable tool in the field of pharmacy education. So the management decide provide financial support to students of college of pharmacy for research work.
The scholarship is named to honor “Alexander Fleming” the father of modern antibiotics and will be referred as “Fleming Scholarship”. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide ample support for students to enrich their exploration interest in the field of pharmacy. The maximum amount of research scholarship is limited to Rs 10000 for each project.
4. M L Schroff Scholarship
The management of Nirmala College of Pharmacy is pleased to welcome a diverse group of students from various districts in Kerala who have enrolled for admission and is proud to have such a wide range of students on our campus. Out of the many applicants, we are happy to award each enrolled student with an appreciation scholarship. It is delightful to offer an appreciation scholarship to each enrolled student out of the large pool of applicants and will benefit them in their academics.
The scholarship is named to honor Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff,Father of pharmacy education in India, and will be referred to as the “ M L Schroff Scholarship ”. Head of the Institution has the discretion to select the academic book that will be beneficial for each program. This scholarship is eligible for the students enrolled in first year of each program.
5. Mar George Madathikandathil Scholarship
This scholarship escalates the enthusiasm and goal of the administration to support the students and to encourage academic growth among them. The scholarship is named to honor His Excellency Mar George Madathikandathil, Bishop of Kothamangalam Diocese, and will be referred to as the ‘Mar George Madathikandathil Scholarship’. Eligibility for scholarship will be based on the aggregate marks of two semesters.
Scholarships will be given only on the basis of academic brilliance.

c) III rank holders of each program – Rs 2000
Governmental Scholarships
1. Post metric scholarship
A scholarship scheme by Ministry of Minority Affairs for students from minority communities pursuing a post-matric course from a notified institution in India. The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.
Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.
2. MERIT CUM MEANS BASED SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship aims at providing suitable financial assistance to meritorious and underprivileged students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue technical and professional courses.
Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses is an initiative for minority community students who are pursuing technical or professional courses at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. The scholarship is being offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA), Government of India. The selected candidates will receive course fees and maintenance allowance.

3 The C.H. Mohammed Koya Scholarship
The C.H. Mohammed Koya Scholarship is a program launched by the Directorate of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala, to support female students from minority communities in pursuing higher education. It provides financial assistance to eligible students, helping them overcome financial barriers and achieve their academic goals2.
Eligibility criteria include:
- Applicants must be female and belong to minority communities such as Muslim, Latin Catholic, or converted Christian.
- They should have scored at least 50% in their qualifying examination.
- The annual family income should not exceed INR 8 lakhs.
Benefits include monetary support for undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses, as well as hostel stipends for those staying in recognized hostels.

4 The Fisheries Scholarship
The Fisheries Scholarship, managed by the Government of Kerala, provides financial assistance to children of fishermen for their education. This initiative, under the e-Grantz 2.0 system, ensures timely disbursement of educational aid for post-matric students.

5 The Rubber Board Scholarship
