Research Projects: The Institution has successfully conducted 322 research projects, demonstrating a strong research culture. The Research projects are focused on addressing the lacuna in the existing system as well as promoting the social well-being of the community. Some of the highlighted areas include

• Identifying new targets and designing new drug molecules for life-threatening diseases
• Synthesis and characterization of new compounds with therapeutic potential through computer-aided drug design
• Addressing stability issues and quantitative estimation of marketed products
• Conducting incompatibility and purity checking of samples
• Offering consultancy services for drug product testing and development
• Studying the Pharmacological activities of various natural products and establishing scientific evidence for its activity in marketed products
• Optimization of drug therapy through innovative drug delivery systems to improve drug efficacy and patient compliance.

• Analyzing drug safety alerts from Pharmacovigilance databases and periodically reporting adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to the Pharmacovigilance Program of India (PVPI)

Research Articles: The publication of 43 research articles in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals and articles in highlights the dissemination of research findings to the wider scientific community.

Patents: The application of six patents suggests a focus on intellectual property protection and potential commercialization of research outcomes.

Research Grants: Faculty and students securing research and innovation grants of 10.5 lakhs highlight their success in obtaining external funding for their research ideas.

Institutional Innovation Council (IIC) Rating: Achieving a three-star rating in IIC and winning the best performer in the State Award in the Innovation Premier League 2022 demonstrates the Institution’s dedication to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
