Nature Club

Nature Club is an ecology club that promotes awareness and appreciation of the natural world and encourages the conservation and responsible stewardship of the environment. Students who are passionate about the outdoors, wildlife, and nature get together as a group in this club. Their goals and activities include

Environmental Education: Nature club often aim to educate the students and the community about the importance of nature and the environment. The community organizes workshops, seminars, and field trips to teach about local flora and fauna, ecological systems, and environmental issues.

The nature club in our colleges plays a crucial role in promoting environmental education, conservation efforts, community engagement, and personal development. They create opportunities for students to connect with nature, learn about environmental issues, and take action to make a positive impact on the environment and society as a whole.

TENALACH

Tenalach was formed on 14 November 2017 and re-inaugurated on 6 September 2019. Students gained a platform to show their potential in technical and non-technical fields. Tenalach was initiated to foster green engineering research, raise environmental awareness among students, provide knowledge on environmental issues, cultivate environmental values, and motivate active involvement in environmental protection. Learning sessions provide students a better platform to learn something new excluding academics which are important for future aspects of their career and lots more.

Art & Design Club

The motto of Design and Arts Club is to inspire and enable the students to actively learn and develop their talent and skills that will develop artistic expression. It is important to foster creativity and self-expression in students, and this club provides a supportive environment for them to do so.The club offers a wide range of activities, including fashion designing, logo designing, decorative designing, software designing, fabric painting, canvas painting, clay modeling, Graffiti Art, Handicraft making, drawing, and sketching. This gives students the opportunity to explore different areas of art and design, and to find what they are passionate about.

The club also provides opportunities for students to share their work with others and to collaborate on projects. This can help them to develop their skills and to learn from others. The club also hosts events and performances, which can help students to build their confidence and to showcase their talents.Overall, the Design and Arts Club is a valuable asset to the student community. It provides a space for students to be creative, to learn, and to grow.

Literary & Oratory Club

The literary & oratory club is for the students who wish to create magic with the words flowing in their minds. The Club intends to expose its members to reputed library and cultural fests in inside and outside states, through active and enthusiastic participation. In addition, the club conducts competitions in extempore, essay writing, debate, elocution, quiz and reading to enhance the speech and oratorical skills.

Dance Club

Dance clubs are an integral part of our college campus, as we provide many benefits for students' physical, mental and social well-being. We promote students to participate various forms of dance varieties in various cultural events. Dance clubs initiates some workshops like Zumba training, Classical training programms in every year. They can also promote cultural diversity and awareness, as they expose students to different styles and forms of dance from around the world. The clubs ensure that the students can get a platform to participate National level and intercollege competitions. Dance clubs can also help students develop valuable skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and problem-solving, which can be useful for their academic and professional careers. Therefore, dance clubs are an important aspect of our college campus which supports and encourages by the administration, faculty and students alike.

Sports Club

Physical activity & fitness is crucial for students, as it is proven to help them not only physically but also mentally and socially.

Being an active participant in Sports, helps young minds by boosting their self-esteem and self- confidence. It also helps in maintaining discipline and make students understand the importance of working as a TEAM.

The sports club of Nirmala College of Pharmacy, provides a great platform for students to showcase their talents. Yearly activities such as Sports Day, Table tennis, Chess, Caroms competitions etc. are conducted. Also students are encouraged to participate in Inter Collegiate Sports events.

Music Club

The singing & rhythm club brings students together who enjoy singing or creating music. From classical & contemporary singing sessions to soulful performances, this club has a lot to offer to its members. It also enables the sharing of skills in playing instruments such as guitar, drums, synthesizer as well as composing and improvising songs.

OBJECTIVES

To engage musically talented or experienced students in club’s activities

To develop organizational skills in students through creating bands and managing concerns

The girls of music club have performed on various occasions like women's day, arts day, Christmas and Onam celebrations. They also conduct charity and other benevolent activities like providing musical entertainment to inmates of providence home eg Karakunnam, Kothamangalam a home for mentally handicapped girls and women. The aim of such programmes is to create an opportunity for students to apply their talent and skills to help and love the most needy group of our society. The club is headed by Ms Vidhya Peter

Media & Film Club

Vision and Mission
The media and photography club welcome all the students to exhibit their talents in video making and photography as well as in radio joking. To encourage and see how students compile and edit pictures and videos and get a strong visual aesthetic. And foster their talents in anchoring and radio programs. The club provides an opportunity for the members to express their talents in the media field. It gives voice to the students and provides them with exposure to the media and broadcast segment. Through this student can capture their college moments and edit them in their own way and also provides the opportunity to express their talents through radio programs.Short film making and short making are two other interesting activities conduct by the media club.

YouTube channel- Nirmala College of Pharmacy,Muvattupuzha
The College YouTube channel has been broadcasting since 12, November 2017. Different events and activities happen on campus and are captured and edited regularly by the media club members. And the edited videos were uploaded to YouTube by the media in charge. In 2021 onwards, the videos uploaded in the channel follow a regular template named ‘NCP MOMENTS’.

Campus Radio-Nirmala Beats
The college radio Nirmala Beats has been functioning on campus since 2017. The Radio team is very efficient in announcements and voice over programs. The radio is regularly broadcast during the lunch break with small talk on different topics and a film song. A total of 10 minutes duration every day relaxes the minds of staff and students of NCP by Nirmala beats voice.

Instagram Account
College instagram handled by the media team. Post different photographs, events and conduct various contests related to different occasions. All the students and staff, people from outside can follow our account but posts are controlled by the media team.

Facebook- Nirmala college of Pharmacy, Muvattupuzha
Facebook account is another duty of media club. The club make sure the regular updation of events and news on facebook account with the help of IT in charge.
