The college has an efficient waste management system to handle various types of waste. Our system operates on the principle of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
Management of solid waste
The institution has signed an MOU with Green Evotech Pvt. Ltd. for the disposal of solid waste.
The segregation of biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste is carried out on site.
For that, separate, labelled waste bins are provided for each classroom, lab, office, and corridor.
The food waste generated in the college and hostel is used in biogas plant.
Biomedical waste management
A separate, labelled bin has been set up for biomedical waste. This type of waste is disposed of through incineration.
Chemicals Waste
Each waste generated in each lab is individually packed and sent to contractor for disposal.
E- waste
The generation of e-waste is reduced through careful use and regular maintenance of electronic devices. Any E-waste generated will be sending to contractor for disposal.
